FAQ
Questions.
Is this legal?
tablesAIDE is an educational strategy tool. Basic strategy is publicly available information — there is no law against using math to make decisions at a blackjack table. The app does not touch, modify, or interact with any game software in any way. It simply reads your screen and informs you of the correct play, exactly the same as looking at a printed strategy card. That said, always check the terms of service of the site you are playing on, as some sites prohibit strategy aids.
What makes tablesAIDE different from a basic strategy card?
A basic strategy card is a static printed chart — it gives you the correct play but doesn't read your cards, doesn't account for the exact rules of your game, and doesn't explain why. tablesAIDE reads your screen automatically every 2 seconds, adjusts for the exact rules of your current game (deck count, dealer rules, payout), explains every decision in plain English, and improves over time as we add more strategy theory. It does in 2 seconds what would take you several steps to look up manually.
Will the site detect it and ban my account?
tablesAIDE is a screen overlay — it does not interact with, modify, or send any data to the game in any way. Online sites have no technical mechanism to detect a separate app running on your computer that is simply reading your screen. That said, some sites prohibit the use of strategy tools in their terms of service. Always check the rules of the site you are playing on and use at your own discretion.
Does it guarantee I will win?
No — and anyone who tells you otherwise is not being honest. tablesAIDE gives you the mathematically optimal play for every hand, which reduces the house edge to under 0.5%. You will still lose hands — that is the nature of blackjack and all casino games. What tablesAIDE does is eliminate costly mistakes, so every decision you make is the best one possible given the cards in front of you. Over time, playing correctly makes a real difference to your results.
Does it work on live dealer blackjack?
Yes — tablesAIDE works on any blackjack game that is visible on your screen, including live dealer streams from providers like Evolution and Playtech. If the automatic card detection misses a card due to camera angle, video quality, or an unusual layout, manual entry mode (F8) lets you type in the cards yourself in a few seconds.
How does autoplay work?
Autoplay is a Pro tier feature. When switched on, tablesAIDE detects your hand, calculates the mathematically correct move, and clicks the action button on your screen automatically — you just watch. You control the speed, from cautious (a 3 second delay before clicking) to instant. You can stop autoplay immediately at any time by pressing F9. Autoplay only fires when the AI confidence in detecting the hand is above a threshold you set, so it will not click on ambiguous or unclear hands.
What about card counting?
Card counting is coming in the Elite tier — it will be a manual input system designed for live in-person casino play. It is not useful for online blackjack because online sites shuffle the deck after every single hand, which makes card counting completely ineffective online. For online play, basic strategy alone reduces the house edge to under 0.5%, which is what tablesAIDE focuses on.
Is poker support coming?
Yes. Poker is on the roadmap. The AI engine will be trained on poker strategy theory and GTO (game theory optimal) play — covering hand strength, pot odds, position, and betting ranges. Both online poker hand analysis and live poker support are planned. Lifetime Pro members get access when poker support launches at no extra cost.
What devices does it work on?
The Windows desktop app is available now in beta — download it, run it, and it works straight away alongside any browser. Android is currently in development and coming soon. iOS is planned after that. All platforms are included in Pro and Lifetime tiers at no extra cost. You will not need to buy the app separately for each device.
I am not very technical — is it easy to use?
Yes. tablesAIDE is designed to be simple for anyone to use, regardless of technical experience. You download and open the app, it appears as a small window on your screen, and it starts working automatically. There is nothing complicated to set up. If auto-detection doesn't catch your cards, you can type them in manually in seconds using F8. The advice is always displayed in plain English with a clear explanation — no jargon, no complicated terminology.
